World Tamer / Review and static QA

Reviewing an existing translation with gaps in the source

I reviewed the supplied Spanish translation, kept wording that already worked, and recorded the lines and UI text I could not fully verify.

01

Problem

The existing translation needed review in context, while leaving sound wording and unrelated script content alone.

02

Context

The archive contained source comments in more than one language, one translated entry without its original text, and UI labels without the corresponding visual assets.

03

Solution

I kept sound translations and corrected substantive problems. Where the original text or visual context was missing, I recorded the limitation rather than guessing.

04

Verification

I checked placeholders, the tokens that must stay intact when the surrounding text is translated, and the approved translation changes. I confirmed that the untouched parts of the files were byte-for-byte unchanged, then extracted all the text again from the delivered files.

05

Result

The review was completed for the supplied archive, and the editable translation files were delivered for copying into the project. Missing source text and visual context remained documented limitations; the work did not cover the whole game.

LIMITS & SOURCES

The game was not run. Assets outside the supplied material were not reviewed, and the delivery was not a full-game sign-off.

Original game text and translated excerpts are not reproduced here.
